Servo-Hydraulic Compression Tester
Servo-hydraulic compression testers apply controlled loads to measure how materials behave under compression, with hydraulic pressure generating the force and servo control regulating it throughout the test. They have a hydraulic actuator that presses the specimen (material being tested) between two platens as the load cell records the applied force, and additional measuring devices can track deformation when the test requires elastic modulus data.

Battery Powder Compaction Density Tester
Battery powder compaction density testers are used to determine how the density of the cathode and anode powders changes when subjected to a controlled pressure. In order to carry out the test, operators first weighs a sample, fills the test die with it, and then initiates the loading program; during the test, the battery analyzer continuously records the force, the displacement, and the thickness of the sample before calculating the density that has been reached at each pressure level.
