Automatic Impact Testing System
Applicable Standards
- GB/T 3808, JG 145, GB/T 229, ISO R148-1, ASTM E23-18
Automated pendulum impact testing systems evaluate the impact resistance of metals through Charpy tests, in which a swinging pendulum strikes a supported specimen and the tester measures the energy it absorbs. For low-temperature tests, a six-axis robotic arm transfers specimens from a cooling tank to the testing position. The tank doors open and close automatically as the robot retrieves each specimen, which reduces manual handling during continuous testing of large batches. The impact tester displays the absorbed energy, impact toughness, pendulum angle, and test curves so users can review the results, and it also supports test data upload.
